The Supreme Court allows a 14-year-old rape victim to have an abortion

New Delhi: The Supreme Court has allowed a 14-year-old alleged rape victim to undergo an abortion for about 30 weeks.

The court quashed the Bombay High Court order dismissing the minor rape victim’s plea for consent for medical abortion.
