Steve Almond is known for his strategic vision and execution in the payments industry, having launched several groundbreaking payment solutions that have significantly impacted the industry. His notable achievements include launching Britain’s first online shopping centre, BarclaySquare, in 1995, and launching the first bank-managed Internet Payment Service Provider service, Barclaycard ePDQ, in 1998.
