Josie Gibson has revealed This Morning co-star Alison Hammond left her in tears on set.

The presenter shot to fame when she won Big Brother in 2010 and has become a fan favorite on TV screens. She went on to appear in her own three-part reality series, There’s Something About Josie, and became a reporter for Big Brother’s Big On The Side. Josie has also appeared on Celebrity Wedding Planner, Let’s Do Lunch With Gino & Mel, The Wright Stuff, Celebrity Juice and Loose Women.

Last year, Josie reportedly collected six figures to appear on ITV’s I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!, finishing in fourth place. She has become a regular on This Morning after leading the ITV show in recent years and was even tipped to take over from Holly Willoughby following her departure.

She has told This Morning is “like a real family” and that “they have been so good to me”. However, on one occasion Josie was left on set in tears after an on-set incident with Alison Hammond. “She’s the funniest – you know when someone makes you cry with laughter? She makes me cry,” Josie told OK! Magazine.

“Our energies just match. And sometimes when we’re filming together they say, “What are we going to do because you two just can’t stop laughing?” The TV star also spoke about losing the main This Morning presentation performance to Cat Deeley. After the departure of Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, the hunt was on to find the news presenter duo for the show.

Cat and Ben Shephard were finally announced as the new presenters, starting their roles last month. Josie admitted that she has no hope of taking on the role of main presenter as she feels like she already is one. She told the publication that she has her “dream gig” because she can “do a little bit of everything” because she is an “all-rounder”.

Last week, Josie was spotted holding hands with ITV co-star Stephen Mulhern while filming the latest episode of Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway. The pair sparked romance rumors after clicking together, with both remaining quiet on the matter. However, Josie has since revealed that they are just “really good friends” and although she “adores” him, there is no romance involved.

When Josie was asked by MailOnline about her feelings for the presenter, she didn’t mince her words when she declared: “I’m in love with Stephen Mulhern. Please.” She then added, “But the story of my life, I don’t think he loves me.” Josie was thought to be single after her relationship with ex-partner Terry. She shares son Reggie-James, six, with the property developer. They started dating in 2017, but after welcoming their son the following year, they split five months later.
