Environmental referee confirms Chalice Mining’s Gonneville mine will be fully scrutinized

Chalice Mining’s Toodyay green metal mine will be subject to a full review by the state’s Environmental Protection Authority after a barrage of public opposition.

WA’s environment manager confirmed on Monday that Chalice’s proposal to build a brand new nickel-copper-platinum element mine in the Shire of Toodyay would be assessed, a widely expected outcome for greenfield development.
