Hendricks told People that both she and Bianchini chose the Big Easy as their wedding destination because of their shared affection for the city. “New Orleans is a place I always liked to go before I met George, and a place he always liked to go before he met me. And when we first started dating or met, because we came from one place through the people lived all over the country, another was the spot in the middle,’ she explained.

In terms of their choice of location, they chose Napoleon House – a French Quarter landmark that was once the residence of New Orleans Mayor Nicholas Girod, who famously sheltered Napoleon Bonaparte during his exile – after being fascinated by the history and the eclectic charm of the restaurant. .

“It has a rustic Cuban, Spanish, European textured, high-low feel, which I think is kind of how we think of ourselves — a little high-low,” Hendricks said. “It has the most beautiful walls where the paint is peeling, and then you walk upstairs and there are these large dining rooms with beautiful ceilings.”

No, (we wanted) a party – a big party.
