He will free the Met from political correctness

Mr Scanlon says his main priority when it comes to policing is to “liberate the Met from all forms of political correctness”.

He says he will also ensure that “ideologically left-wing groups such as Extinction Rebellion” face the full consequences of the law and will increase the number of stops to reduce knife crime.

He will reduce travel costs

On transport, Mr Scanlon says he will freeze and then reduce transport rates.

He will have undercover officers on board trains and buses to improve crime and open toilets in at least a quarter of all metro stations.

Mr Scanlon has also pledged to reverse plans to change the historic names on the London Overground.

He will oppose mass immigration

On housing, Mr Scanlon says the biggest problem in London is the increase in mass immigration, which he will oppose.

He says affordable housing will remain out of reach until the problem is properly addressed.

He will fund indigenous cultural events

To promote culture in London, Mr Scanlon will make any vandalism to memorials and monuments an “unthinkable act”.

He will provide substantial funding for indigenous cultural events such as St. George’s Day and will “ban the relegation of Christian festivals, such as this year’s Easter holiday, which instead prioritized Ramadan celebrations on London’s iconic Oxford Street.”

He will end the war on motorists

Mr Scanlon says he will cut unnecessary spending at City Hall and end the war on motorists “which is costing hardworking Londoners a fortune”.
