Chef partnership advocates sustainable agriculture

Windset Farms® unveils its partnership with renowned Canadian culinary talent Chef Ned Bell. This collaboration will advocate sustainable agriculture and locally produced products. Leveraging his culinary expertise and commitment to responsible food sourcing, Chef Ned will serve as a central advocate for Windset Farms’ vision to provide sustainably grown produce for the planet.

Chef Ned is a renowned Canadian culinary talent who has charted a path as a chef and passionate advocate for sustainable seafood and agricultural products. Based in British Columbia, he is co-owner of Hatch Hospitality and serves as Chef Ambassador at Buy BC.

Bell will be at the Windset Farms booth at the 2024 CPMA Convention and Trade Show, where attendees can sample its signature tacos made with the newly released Yum Yums™ Cherry Tomatoes and Sweeties™ Seedless Mini Peppers.

As Head Chef of Windset, Bell will play a crucial role in working with the greenhouse company to promote the benefits of sustainably grown produce through compelling campaigns. These initiatives include video tours showcasing the company’s state-of-the-art greenhouse facility in Delta, BC. Windset’s 92 hectares in Delta, BC, will feature the largest LED-lit facility (48 hectares) in Western North America using renewable hydropower. With the first harvest scheduled for this fall, Bell will spotlight the company’s delicious, locally grown produce year-round. Additionally, he will share culinary insights and recipes on Windset’s social media platforms.

Bell will also be at the Windset Farms booth at the 2024 CPMA Convention and Trade Show on April 24-25. Visitors can look forward to sampling its signature tacos made with the newly released Yum Yums™ Cherry Tomatoes and Sweeties™ Seedless Mini Peppers.

“We are grateful to have Chef Ned Bell back at the CPMA show in Vancouver,” said John Newell, COO of Windset Farms. “His commitment to sustainability and culinary excellence aligns with our mission to deliver nutritious products through excellence, growth and innovation. We look forward to the positive impact we will make together.”
