Jnr Pope: Nollywood practitioners hold candlelight procession for deceased actors and other victims

• The pain surrounding the tragic death of Nollywood actor Junior Pope has resurfaced after a video of his candlelight service went viral

• The images of the nighttime procession came to the netizens when they drew attention to the actor’s absence

As fans and Nigerians anticipate the funeral arrangements for late actor Pope Obumneme Odonwodo, affectionately known as Junior Pope, the Nollywood community, together with family and friends, organized a poignant candlelight service to honor his memory.

In a video making the rounds online, a group of young men and women dressed in black outfits came out in large numbers to pay their respects to the late actor and the four other victims.

Recall that the energetic actor died on April 10 along with four crew members while on their way to shoot a movie ‘The Other Side of Life’ directed by Adanma Luke.

The candlelight procession, held in Enugu State, became a solemn occasion for many to offer prayers for the eternal rest of the departed souls.

Prophecy about Junior Pope’s death trends

In another report via Legit.nga famous seer Bright Ndibunwa, also known as Bright the Seer, foresaw the tragic capsizing of the boat, which killed four actors, including Junior Pope.

In a video, Bright had predicted that Nollywood actors should pray for their lives.

She said that while she was aware that they were praying, they should do better because she saw the incident coming.
