Clyde & Co expands American insurance practice with the appointment of Thomas Maroney in New York: Clyde & Co

Global law firm Clyde & Co today announced the appointment of Thomas Maroney as a partner in its New York office. Tom joins the firm from Kennedys and his appointment is the latest expansion of Clyde & Co’s global insurance and North American defense practice.

Tom has extensive experience handling insurance claims involving primary and excess general liability, construction (New York employment law), transportation and hospitality. He holds the Associate in Claims (AIC) designation and previously oversaw an errors and omissions claims desk that handled multiple types of professional liability claims, including claims involving attorneys, accountants, insurance agents/brokers, brokers/dealers, real estate agents and title agents. .

Tom joins the firm’s national defense practice and his appointment follows the recent arrival of partner Danny Worker and his team in Chicago and of senior counsel Kira Barrett, Melissa Gardner and Rachel Werner in Phoenix.
