Carrie Johnson is a bronzed beach babe while WOWing in a nautical outfit

Carrie Johnson is best known as the wife of former Conservative Prime Minister Boris, but she’s also considered a bit of a fashionista, and we’re excited to see what thread she steps into next.

Although she’s a lover of designer labels, preferring dresses from royal brand The Vampire’s Wife and carrying the same Grace Hann handbag as the Princess of Wales, she also shops in more accessible stores, and luxury retailer LKBennett is right up there with some of her favorites.

Over the weekend, Wilfred, Frank and Romy’s mother shared an ‘Outfit of the Day’ post on her Instagram Stories page, showing herself rocking the nautical dress of dreams.

Known as the ‘Beau Blue and Cream Striped Cotton Sun Dress’, from LKBennett, the £299 dress is a beautiful design, complete with a large collar, belted waist and cut to a super flattering midi length. The website says of the style: “A chic sundress with design elements from the sailor style. The beautiful Beau is destined for glamorous destinations. It is made from blue and cream striped cool cotton and has a wide collar with scalloped edge and bow detail, one with fabric covered belt with buckle and an A-line midi skirt. Wear it with a pair of leather sandals and a basket bag.

The former PR girl said of the design: “This dress from @lkbennettlondon has become my new favorite. Such a soft cotton style with a beautiful sailor style collar.” Carrie paired it with cream backless loafers and wore her blonde locks in a simple bun. So chic. We predict it will fly off the shelves, as Carrie has put a number of dresses on the map in the past.

This isn’t the first time Carrie has impressed people with her wardrobe. In 2019, when she was known as Carrie Symonds, she stepped out in a stunning Ghost dress known as the ‘Luella’ as she supported her then partner Boris in Downing Street as he became Prime Minister. Shoppers went crazy over her floral number worth €120 and it sold out straight away.
