Shivam Dube’s career

In 2019, Dube made his debut for his country in the white ball format; however, he was dismissed from the Indian squad after failing to capitalize on his opportunities. His breakthrough season came in the 2023 Indian Premier League, when he amassed 418 runs at an incredible strike rate of 158.33 and helped his team, the Chennai Super Kings, win the championship.

He got a chance in the T20I series against Afghanistan in January 2024 where he bowled well and hit back-to-back half-centuries. He is now considered as Hardik Pandya’s backup.
