AGN holds 4 days of fasting and prayer, invites Pastor Jerry Eze as the guild becomes spiritual

The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), in a recent announcement by the National President of the guild, Emeka Rollas, has declared a fervent four-day prayer and fasting following the tragic losses in the movie industry.

According to the flyer shared by the guild president on Monday, April 22, the founder of Streams of Joy International Church, Pastor Jerry Eze, was the guest to lead the spiritual exercise.

Rollas spoke on the importance of prayers to prevent further losses in Nollywood as he revealed that prayers and fasting would commence from May 2 to 5.

Apart from the tragic boat accident, Nollywood recently lost actors Ibu and Amaeachi Muonagor, who battled illness.

Emeka Rollas shared the flyer on his page and wrote in a caption:

“In view of the recent passing of our two veteran members and the devastating tragic boat accident that claimed the lives of five active practitioners including John Paul Odonwodo aka Jnr Pope in Asaba, we have decided to seek divine intervention in fasting and prayers for prevent similar events in the future.”

Nollywood holds a candlelight procession for Junior Pope and others

Legit.ng recently reported that the Nollywood community, together with family and friends, convened a poignant candlelight service to honor the memory of late actor Junior Pope.

A video showed young men and women wearing black outfits to show their respect for the late actor and the four other victims.

In response someone said:

“We reject untimely death…in Jesus name amen.”
