#ANONGBALITA Pia Wurtzbach: Global Fashion Influencer 2024

Former Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach will receive the Global Fashion Influencer of the Year Award in Dubai this week.

Wurtzbach is one of the winners of this year’s EMIGALA Awards at Festival Bay at Dubai Festival City Mall on April 27 and 28.

Chinese actress Fan Bingbing, on the other hand, receives the Global Fashion Icon of the Year.

The EMIGALA aims to recognize Arab and international talent.

In 2021, EMIGALA awarded Dubai-based Filipino designers Michael Cinco and Furne Amato for their contributions to the fashion industry.

Last month, Wurtzbach also delighted fans with her beauty, both real and wax, when her wax figure arrived at Madame Tussauds in Singapore for a limited time only.

“Pia is an outstanding woman who has achieved many achievements in life,” said Elaine Quek, head of sales and marketing at Madame Tussauds Singapore.

“We know that there are many Pia fans who would like to see the Queen up close. We are thrilled to have her figure at our attraction and hope that many will take this opportunity to not only witness the amazing likeness, but also admire the craftsmanship that went into creating the figure,” Quek added.

Wurtzbach previously made history as the first Filipino wax figure to be featured at Madame Tussauds in 2019.
