Fearing defeat, PM Modi is fanning religious hatred, says CM Stalin

CHENNAI: Prime Minister Stalin on Monday termed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech “despicable” and said the Prime Minister was stoking religious sentiments and resorting to hate speech, fearing public anger over his failures.

Describing the Prime Minister’s “poisonous speech” in Rajasthan as “despicable” and “highly deplorable”, Stalin said in a post on his ‘X’ page: “Fearing public anger over his failures, Modi has tried to dampen religious sentiments and resorted to hate speech to avoid imminent defeat. Hate and discrimination are Modi’s real guarantees.

The Prime Minister strongly criticized the Election Commission for turning a deaf ear to the prime minister’s blatant hate speech. He said the ECI has brazenly abandoned even the pretense of neutrality.

“The socio-economic caste census promised by the INDIA bloc is a long overdue solution to create an egalitarian society. It is sad that the Prime Minister is distorting this and depriving socially disadvantaged communities of their share of education, employment and positions of power. Stalin added while warning the INDIA bloc leaders to beware of the BJP’s cunning diversionary tactics. “We must strengthen our commitment to expose Modi’s abject failures,” he added.
