Why Blake Shelton Jokes He Feels Guilty In The Relationship With Gwen Stefani

Blake Shelton is well aware of his recent request of Gwen Stefani were bananas.

Still, the country star asked his wife just after they reunited Doubtless during Coachella’s first weekend, to join him onstage at the grand opening of his Ole Red bar in Las Vegas on April 16.

“I felt guilty for even asking her to do it, but not so guilty that I didn’t ask her,” Blake shared exclusively E! News. “She had a great week.”

And Blake added that not only did Gwen perform with her original rock ensemble, but also Olivia Rodrigo during her April 13 performance – plenty of practice for her Coachella headlining sets.

“You can’t even imagine the rehearsals leading up to that because she hasn’t played with those guys in nine years,” he added. “They had to go in there, dust off the music and get it going again.” (For more from Blake, tune in E! News tonight, April 22 at 11 p.m.)
