Ciela seniors’ home evacuated due to fire in parking garage

One woman suffered injuries

According to an LAFD alert, a woman suffered injuries during a fire evacuation at Ciela Senior Living in Pacific Palisades.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a fire incident at 17310 W Vereda De La Montura in Pacific Palisades on Sunday at 7:45 p.m.

According to reports, a car caught fire in the parking garage beneath the senior living facility. The fire brigade successfully extinguished the fire within 34 minutes.

During the evacuation process, one female patient suffered a fall injury and was subsequently transported by LAFD paramedics to a local hospital for treatment. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
