David Potts shares a hilariously unaired CBB rule-breaking moment

Famous big brother winner David Potts has revealed two moments from the series that never made it to air.

Potts became the first star to win the ITV reboot of the classic reality show last month, thanks to his bubbly personality, his bond with his housemates and, of course, his always-shaved legs.

As the new series kept fans entertained for three weeks, Potts has exclusively told PinkNews about two moments that didn’t make it to the final but left the housemates ‘p*ssing themselves’ with laughter.

“There was a moment where there was a rule violation and (Big Brother) thought, ‘The rule violation was Louis (Walsh), then there was a pause and Sharon (Osbourne) thought it might be her,’” Potts said.

‘She was hidden behind it like a scarf, and she just came out of the scarf and shouted at Big Brother, ‘Slap my bum!’ It was so funny, we (were) all pissing ourselves.”

There was also another moment that Potts was surprised to learn was left on the cutting room floor. In the first face-to-face nomination segment of the series, things got a little heated in between Boys and dolls star Marisha Wallace and Love Island winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu.

Evidently, Come dance strictly professional Nikita Kuzmin could not cope with the tension and tried to end the quarrel.

“Nikita, bless him, Nikita is so pure and he has such a beautiful soul and he’s just a beautiful person. He doesn’t like confrontation, so he started to panic a little bit,” Potts revealed.

“He just grabbed his microphone and said, ‘Big Brother!’ I really need you to take control of this situation, it’s getting out of hand.”

Potts’ reaction to Kuzmin’s panic could also be the reason the clip was cut. “I screamed, I thought, ‘That’s so funny,’ because (like) I said, he doesn’t like confrontation. But (was) not even bad.

“They probably couldn’t show it because I was screaming so loud.”

In addition to spilling on the Famous big brother scenes we didn’t get to see, Potts also gave PinkNews a little tease of what’s to come on his new podcast, The David Potts Showthe first episode of which is now streaming.

“It’s basically a parody of daytime TV, but on a podcast. Parody vibes, but very loving, very fun,” he explained.

The podcast will feature several typical daytime TV-style segments, including a “Doctor David” piece, and a section where celebrities are interviewed and “plug, plug, plug” their latest projects.

‘Then we have it Good moaning Britain, where people can ring the doorbell and have a good moan, because who doesn’t like to moan? Everyone likes to moan,” Potts continued.

“We have a Loose women also a segment, where women can come in with different problems they have had. It can be any kind of problem: anything sexual, from a night out, anything weird. I’m very excited about it. I am so happy with it.”

Potts also had a few ideas when it comes to the guests he’d like to have on the show. “I would have to have Kris Jenner, I’m obsessed with Kris Jenner… maybe Nicki Minaj too,” he said. “And maybe someone sexy, like Anthony Joshua.”

“Wait, RuPaul. I would like to bring in RuPaul, or Michelle (Visage). I’m such a big one Drag race fan.”

New episodes of The David Potts Show drop on streaming services every Wednesday.
