What the Cosmo team is shopping for

It’s been a pretty big month for Victoria Beckham – not only has the iconic ‘Posh Spice’ celebrated her 50th birthday in style (the pop star turned designer reunited with her fellow Spice Girls for a rendition of ‘Stop’), but she has also just launched an amazing collaboration with high street hero Mango today.

Hereby Cosmos, we’re big fans of basically everything VB does. Yes, she made wearing sunglasses indoors cool and wowed us with a cosmetics line that beauty editors are using far and wide Real love (check out our beauty team’s review here). Seriously, we’ll be spritzing ourselves with her perfumes at every opportunity (Portofino ’97 is our top pick).

But when it comes to fashion, we have to admit that Victoria Beckham’s collections were slightly out of budget. And by that we mean completely off budget – I mean, the designer label is showing during fashion week and none other than Anna Wintour has been at FROW. It’s that level of luxury, folks.

But that doesn’t mean we didn’t enjoy admiring it from afar, and we really enjoyed seeing Ms. Beckham come into her own as a design quintessential – now known for her minimal aesthetic, feminine silhouettes and deconstructed tailoring.

That’s why we were BEYOND excited when Mango announced a few weeks ago that it would be collaborating with the style icon. TBH, we set our alarm on the spot and have been counting down the days, minutes and seconds ever since.

And finally we are put out of our misery, because the new collection was launched this morning. It’s safe to say we’re not disappointed either, as the drop is basically a summer dream. That’s our holiday wardrobes sorted, girls!

There’s everything from the perfect crochet maxi dress to gorge tailoring (shout out to the most versatile black blazer we’ve ever seen), plus a ton of great summer accessories to choose from – we’re talking leather sandals, oversized tote bags and cool mixed metal jewelry.

The Victoria Beckham x Mango capsule collection also takes into account that summer in the UK can be quite cold (what’s going on with the weather RN?!) and has therefore thrown in a timeless trench coat for good measure. Greetings Vic.
