Vittoria Unveils New Performance and Durability-Focused Tires – Highlight

This year’s Sea Otter Classic event marked a pivotal moment for Vittoria, with the Italian brand drawing on more than 70 years of experience in product innovation, further developing its range of performance tires while introducing sustainability-oriented developments.

XC racing performance innovation

With UCI World Championship XC titles in both long and short formats, Vittoria now introduces to the public what factory racers have been racing on for the past two seasons: the new Peyote and Mezcal cross-country tires with the all-new XC Race formulation.

The Peyote – optimized for hardpack to fine loose terrain – features a new tread and carcass that are said to show a 6% improvement in rolling performance, along with an 11% increase in grip, especially in the wet.

The World Championship proven Mezcal also receives updates, with the new XC Race construction showing a Vittoria-quoted 3% improvement in rolling performance and the same 11% increase in grip as the Peyote.

Mezcal also sees a new 2.4 size option, new sidewall colors and new XC Race formulation and technology.

Durability and performance for gravel

At the event in California, Vittoria not only introduced a range of new products, but also innovations derived from extensive sustainability research. Here: “Let’s change!” is Vittoria’s rallying cry – a call to action, urging the wider industry and its customers to rethink sustainability and redefine tire technology.

At product level, this is reflected in the development of new products, with the Terreno PRO T60 Mixed

What does “best product” mean in today’s world? Vittoria answers this question with the Terreno PRO T60 Mixed gravel tire – made from 92% renewable and recycled materials

Set to hit the market in June, this Taipei Cycling Show award-winning tire is said to embody a combination of durability and top performance.

Vittoria claims that the Terreno PRO T60 Mixed is the most durable tire ever produced, but also emphasizes that it offers unparalleled speed and durability.

Expansion of the tire system concept

In addition to tire innovations, Vittoria has also introduced a full range of tire inserts, redefining the concept of a tire system.

Building on the success of the Air-Liner Light and Air-Liner Protect Enduro & DH, Vittoria now presents an extensive range designed to improve speed, smoothness, mileage and protection – all in a lightweight package.

With these inserts, Vittoria wants to strengthen its position as a designer and manufacturer of first-class tire systems in all segments of cycling.

From track to mountain: Vittoria has consistently triumphed in all cycling disciplines. With these new launches, the Italian brand further strengthens its commitment to the off-road segment by expanding its range of new products.

Vittoria in Great Britain

In the UK, Vittoria is distributed by Madison, where the new Peyote XC Race tire and Mezcal XC Race tire will be available from Thursday 25 April. Both tires will retail for £64.99.
