Fords Gin and The Ned London are joining forces for a martinis and oysters takeover

Fords Gin has teamed up with The Ned London to host the Fords Gin Martinis & Oysters Takeover. The pairing experience, an unmissable opportunity for London cocktail lovers and oyster lovers alike, will be held from May 1 at The Library Bar, in the prestigious venue The Ned.^st until May 31^stwelcomes guests every Tuesday through Saturday from 5:00 PM until late.

The Library Bar, usually exclusive to members of The Ned, will open its doors to the public during the event, offering an exquisite menu of three specially crafted martinis made with Fords Gin, accompanied by a selection of freshly produced oysters. This initiative offers non-members a rare opportunity to enjoy the luxurious atmosphere of one of London’s most intimate bars, located at 27 Poultry, London EC2R 8AJ.

Fords Gin, distilled in London at Thames Distillers, is the brainchild of gin expert Simon Ford and 11^e generation master distiller Charles Maxwell. It represents a modern interpretation of the classic London Dry Gin, with a balanced blend of juniper, coriander seed, citrus and a carefully selected range of botanicals. This event not only highlights the versatility and appeal of the gin, but also London’s heritage.

Each martini at the event costs £18, while oysters are available for £11 for a quarter dozen, £22 for half a dozen and £39 for a full dozen. An extra treat on Thursdays from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM in May: guests who buy two Ford’s Gin Martinis receive two free oysters, making for an ideal treat after work or on a relaxing evening.

The Ned London, a creation of Soho House founder Nick Jones, is a Grade II listed institution housed in the former Midland Bank headquarters, designed by Sir Edwin ‘Ned’ Lutyens in 1924. The venue combines historic grandeur with contemporary comfort and style, spread over ten restaurants. , 250 bedrooms, a range of private event spaces and the members-only Ned’s Club.
