Church sign in Texas sparks immigration controversy

At a Baptist church in Marshall, Texas, people are divided over their new sign.

A Reddit user recently posted a photo of the new sign at a church in Texas, causing some jaws to drop in shock!

Texas.

If you can’t really make it out, the sign says:

Heaven has strict immigration laws. Hell has open borders!

Well, actually the word “immigration” is misspelled, but I guess even though Heaven has strict immigration laws, it’s pretty lax on grammar. For example, I didn’t know there were no boundaries in hell. I wonder what the process is to get to heaven.

The original post on Reddit received more than 1,000 comments. However, if you notice, in the original post the church name and address are blurred out; no word on why they decided to blur that information. Naturally, the Internet immediately went to work trying to find out where in Texas, and exactly which church this was.

This is apparently Bell Street Baptist Church in Marshall, Texas.

Marshall is located in East Texas, and apparently this is nothing new for this part of the Lone Star State.

One Redditor commented:

Unfortunately, this is a dead end for Marshall. East Texas is even more isolated than it was when I was young, and it’s only moving more in an extremist direction. It breaks my heart.

I’m not a very religious person, but is this really the message Jesus would spread? Immigration is already a heavy topic, I’m not sure if this topic is covered in the Bible; maybe it’s in the Trump Bible.

Because of their support of the former president, Trump Burger has received a lot of attention – both good and bad. Anyway, those burgers look great. Let’s take a look at some of their most popular menu items.
