Head of Mission and staff members visit the Ghanaian community in Robertsport, Grand Cape MountHE Kingsford Amoako paid a courtesy visit to the Ghanaian community in Robertsport, Grand Cape Mount County on April 19, 2024. He took the opportunity to meet the Immigration Department in the province who assured him that Ghanaian nationals would not be harassed.

The Head of Mission also paid a courtesy visit to the Cape Mount County Police Command and held discussions with the Commander and his team on peaceful coexistence in the district. On Saturday, April 20, 2024, the Head of Mission, accompanied by the members of the Mission Staff, including the Head of the Consular Section, Mr. Obed NY Sarpong; First Secretary/Consular, Mr Richard Sackitey; Chief Secretary, Perez Agbetiameh, embarked on a familiarization tour of Robertsport ahead of his engagement with the Ghanaian communities in Grand Cape Mount. Immigration officials also accompanied the Head of Mission on the tour.

During his engagement with the Ghanaian community in Robertsport, Grand Cape Mount Head of Mission, HE Kingsford Amoako, conducted a mentoring session and presented teaching materials and stationery to graduating students of Robertsport High School and Episcopal High School. The Ambassador urged the Community to ensure that it obtains the required documentation, such as birth certificates for those born in Liberia and passports in Ghana, to regularize their stay in the country.
