Eric raises money for the underprivileged through online campaigns, rallying his supporters under the banner of ‘Team Sisi Kwa Sisi.’ He identifies people in need via the Internet and offers them support. Numerous people have received help through this initiative.

During a recent conversation with Ramogi TV, the comedian shared his method to ensure the proper use of the donations.

He said that when the amount donated to someone exceeds KSh 1 million, he places the money in a newly created bank account for the recipient and instructs the bank manager to prevent withdrawals without his consent.

For a beneficiary to gain access to the funds, he must convince Eric of the intent of the withdrawal.

“Nowadays, after contributing to someone, we go with them to the bank to set up a new account. We then instruct the bank manager to restrict access to the funds without my permission. Therefore, if the person wishes to withdraw funds, he or she must contact me and justify the intended use or project of the funds. We have started conducting follow-up studies. In certain cases we even link them to financial advisors. The goal of this initiative is to transform lives,” he explains.
