Combining physical and digital fashion experiences

Maison Margiela, in collaboration with digital fashion innovator The Fabricant, unveils its groundbreaking web3 fashion line, the MetaTABI Collection. This collection departs from traditional fashion paradigms and combines physical products with digital encounters facilitated by NFTs. The MetaTABI collection consists of two editions: 15 Tier 1 NFTs in white and 1,500 Tier 2 NFTs in black.

About Maison Margiela

Founded in 1988 by Belgian designers Martin Margiela and Jenny Meirens, Maison Margiela is a leading French luxury fashion house known for its avant-garde creations and unconventional approach to design. From haute couture-inspired artisan collections to ready-to-wear lines spanning womenswear, menswear, jewelry, shoes, accessories, leather goods, perfumes and homewares, Maison Margiela consistently pushes the boundaries of fashion.

Embrace Web3

Last year, Maison Margiela launched a blockchain game, inviting participants to compete for the opportunity to mint 24 token-linked digits, granting access to the MetaTABI presale. Additionally, holders of The Fabricant tokens and selected individuals from partner communities were given access through raffles. This innovative approach underlines Maison Margiela’s commitment to embracing web3 technologies and connecting with its audiences in new ways.

Unlocking digital experiences

In addition to physical items, MetaTABI owners unlock a variety of virtual experiences on platforms such as The Sandbox and Ready Player Me. Additionally, they will enjoy priority access to Maison Margiela’s upcoming web3 projects via an exclusive NFT Mint Pass. By joining Maison Margiela’s fanbase, MetaTABI holders ensure lifelong and future access to the brand, fostering a deeper connection between the fashion house and its customers.

Accessible to everyone

The MetaTABI collection sale is now open to the general public and welcomes interested participants to explore and engage with the convergence of physical and digital fashion experiences. Visit The Fabricant’s official website for more information and to participate.
