The woman’s husband Manas had reportedly filed an FIR against Jaydev two years ago, alleging that he had raped his wife. Based on Manas’ complaint, Jaydev was arrested by the police. After his release from jail, Jaydev had struck up a relationship with Manas’ wife after meeting the woman while Manas was away, TOI’s report said.
