UDST Announces Amiri Scholarship Program

The Doha University of Science and Technology (UDST) has announced the availability of the Amiri Scholarship program, designed to support outstanding students from Qatar and around the world. This premier scholarship embodies the wise leadership’s vision and continued commitment to advancing educational excellence in Qatar and beyond. The Amiri Scholarship is the most prestigious award designed to support outstanding students from Qatar and around the world. It aims to enable them to obtain degrees in applied STEM fields of study, fostering creativity and innovation. Furthermore, the scholarship encourages international beneficiaries to immerse themselves in Qatar’s rich, multicultural society. The scholarship provides students with many benefits, including full tuition waiver for an undergraduate degree, comprehensive health insurance coverage, a monthly stipend, a full waiver of textbook fees, provision of accommodation and transportation, and coverage of visa processing fees for international students. In addition, international students will benefit from an annual return ticket in economy class. This effort highlights our commitment to fostering a knowledgeable and innovative workforce, capable of contributing to the future of Qatar and the world at large.”To qualify the scholarship, candidates must meet a series of criteria, with the main requirements focusing on a high school diploma or equivalent, approved by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, with a minimum average of 90%, successful completion of the final year of mathematics, science ( chemistry/biology/physics) and other program-specific admission requirements with a score of at least 90%. Applicants must have recently graduated from high school either in the same year or the year prior to the scholarship application. Prospective students from government, private and international schools, both within and outside Qatar, are invited to apply.
