Saudi national kidnapped in Islamabad

A Saudi Arabian national has reportedly been abducted from Sector F8 of Islamabad.

The Margalla police station has registered a first information report (FIR) at the request of a Saudi embassy official.

According to the FIR, the suspect, identified as Abdul Wahid Shahid Khan, allegedly kidnapped Saudi national Hanan Abdullah al-Bashar. The FIR also emphasizes the urgency of the situation, emphasizing the need for the kidnapper to face legal consequences and for the immediate recovery of the kidnapped person.

The kidnapping has raised concerns about the safety and security of foreigners in the capital, prompting heightened vigilance from both local authorities and diplomatic missions.

The Saudi Embassy in particular is closely monitoring the situation and is actively working with Pakistani law enforcement agencies to ensure the safe return of their citizens.

It should be noted that anti-state elements in Pakistan are targeting foreigners in the country to tarnish Pakistan’s image in the world.
