The Central Michigan University Board of Trustees has approved the appointment of new members to the Central Michigan University Research Corporation Board of Directors.

The new appointees include Kaleb Patrick, interim vice president, CMU Innovation and Online Services; Mitchell Bal, assistant vice president, PNC Bank; and Bob Johnson, editor, MLIVE.

Their wealth of expertise and diverse backgrounds will strengthen CMURC’s leadership team as it steers the Great Lakes Bay Small Business Hub toward prosperity and innovation, said CMU President Bob Davies.

“CMU remains committed to the community and promoting entrepreneurship and innovation in the Great Lakes Bay Region,” said Davies. “The board’s support will ensure that CMURC can continue to strengthen and empower small businesses, creating jobs and driving growth.”

Each new member is ready to contribute insights that will advance CMURC’s mission. Patrick, representing CMU IO, will provide valuable guidance in fostering entrepreneurial efforts in the region through online courses.
