WHP Global has partnered with Agilitas Sports for Lotto in India, Australia and South Africa

Global brand management company WHP Global on Friday announced a new long-term licensing agreement to expand the Lotto brand in India, Australia and soon South Africa.

As part of the partnership, Agilitas will acquire exclusive rights to design, manufacture, promote and distribute Lotto products in these markets.

Scheduled to launch in early 2025, Agilitas plans a multi-category offering that includes footwear, apparel, accessories and sporting goods.

Distribution channels for Lotto products include D2C online channels, branded EBOs, shop-in-shops with retail partners and online marketplaces from the first year of launch. Agilitas also plans to grow Lotto’s presence through consumer engagement, marketing initiatives and partnerships with athletes and clubs.

The acquisition of the Lotto licensing rights comes at a crucial time as India experiences a surge in the sports performance and athleisure categories. Agilitas Sports aims to impact the entire value chain, from manufacturing to retail, with a focus on creating a vertically integrated business model.

Notably, Agilitas Sports recently acquired Mochiko, India’s largest footwear manufacturer, further expanding its manufacturing capabilities.
