BJP continues with ‘Viksit Bharat’ determination: Kishan Reddy

Hyderabad, April 21 Union Minister for Tourism and Culture G. Kishan Reddy on Sunday said that the BJP is moving forward with the resolve of ‘Viksit Bharat’ by 2047.

Addressing a press conference here after unveiling the BJP’s manifesto for the Lok Sabha polls in Telugu, he said the manifesto is in line with the BJP’s vision of ‘Viksit Bharat’ (developed India) by 2047, when it country celebrates 100 years of independence.

He asserted that the efforts of the Narendra Modi government over the past decade for the rapid development of the country are bearing fruit.

Kishan Reddy, who is also the state president of the BJP, asserted that in his next term, the BJP would continue the good work done in the last two terms.

He expressed confidence that India will become the world’s third largest economy in the next five years.

The Union minister said that after decades, a stable government was formed under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He claimed that since 2014, the BJP had rectified the alleged irregularities, nepotism and inefficient governance of the Congress party over the last seventy years.

He criticized the Congress and said the grand old party has still not given up on corruption and nepotism.

He claimed that in the last decade, the government has provided quality healthcare services, education and pucca houses to the poor. He said the BJP has promised to build another 3 crore houses for the poor.

Kishan Reddy said the Modi government has taken strong steps to check paper leakage. “It turned post offices into mini banks and is trying to develop the country as a millet hub,” he said.

The BJP leader also claimed that the BJP policy of one nation, one election is aimed at the development of the country.

Kishan Reddy said that BJP’s ‘Sankalp Patra’ or manifesto for Lok Sabha elections has been translated into Telugu. He said this was in line with the Prime Minister’s efforts to help people explain the government’s plans and policies in their mother tongue.

“We want to reach every person and household with the BJP’s plans and programs and provide them with details in their own language,” he said.

He asserted that programs and programs will be brought to people’s doorsteps in their mother tongues

BJP MP K. Laxman said people see Congress party’s ‘Nyay Patra’ as ‘Anyay Patra’. He noted that while the BJP’s slogan is “developed India”, the Congress party’s slogan is “divided India”. He alleged that the Congress Party’s manifesto is similar to that of the Muslim League.

The Rajya Sabha member said that Congress is cheating people in the name of freebies and guarantees.
