Three members of the same family in Haryana politics

Three members of the same family in Haryana politics…

Many seats will be hot this time in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections in Haryana. Among them, former chief minister Manohar Lal is the most popular seat in the state as he is contesting the Karnal elections. The people of the state will also wait for the results from Rohtak, Gurugram, Sonipat, Ambala, Sirsa, Bhiwani-Mahendragarh and Hisar. Among all these hot seats, the political battle for Hisar seat is at the most interesting juncture. This happened for the first time in Hisar parliamentary constituency when former Deputy Prime Minister of the country Ch. Three members of the Devi Lal family stand face to face on the same chair.

These are the three candidates of the Devi Lal family for the Hisar seat.

Against Sunaina, the BJP has made Devi Lal’s elder son Ranjit Singh Chautala its candidate from Hisar seat. While the Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) has fielded Naina Chautala. naina is the wife of JJP president ajay Singh Chautala, second son of Devi Lal and son of former chief minister Om Prakash Chautala. At the same time, the Indian National Lok Dal has instructed Sunaina Chautala, general secretary of the party’s women’s wing, from his seat. The Indian National Lok Dal has named Sunaina as its candidate for this seat. Sunaina is the wife of Ravi Chautala. Ravi Chautala is the son of late Pratap Singh Chautala, the youngest son of Devi Lal.

The political situation in the seat of Hisar is such that people witness a fight between two daughters-in-law and a father-in-law. The special thing is that they all come from Devi Lal’s family. The current MP on this seat is former Bharatiya Janata Party leader Brijendra Singh, who joined the Congress party a few days ago.

The three Chautalas had separated six years ago.

All three Chautala families were separated from each other long ago. In the year 2018, ajay Chautala and his son Dushyant Chautala broke away from INLD and formed JJP. In the year 2019, JJP supported the BJP in forming the government in Haryana. The BJP-JJP alliance broke due to lack of coordination in the Lok Sabha elections.
