Since then, the actress has been a prominent figure on the esteemed MET Gala red carpet, captivating audiences around the world with her remarkable style and fashion choices. However, the latest update might disappoint her fans as she will not be attending the esteemed event this year.

Priyanka Chopra is excited to see Zendaya at the Met Gala

In an interview with Access Hollywood, Priyanka Chopra said: “I don’t even know who’s going this year. I’m definitely not there this year because I’m filming, but I think I’m really enjoying seeing people’s creativity at the Met Gala and I’m really excited to see how it turns out. I haven’t actually read anything yet about who is going this year.”

When told that Zendaya will be attending this year’s Met Gala, Priyanka expressed her excitement and said, “She’s great, so we’re definitely looking forward to her.”

The 2024 Met Gala is scheduled for Monday, May 6 in New York City at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. This event celebrates the Costume Institute’s latest exhibition, entitled ‘Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion’.

Deepika Padukone not going to the Met Gala?

Not only Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone who has been part of Met Gala since 2017 will not be attending the event this year. Sources close to her have revealed that Deepika has allocated her schedule to ongoing projects, including the shooting of Singham 3 and the launch of Kalki 2898 AD, scheduled for May.

Deepika Padukone recently announced her pregnancy with husband and actor Ranveer Singh. The actor took to her Instagram account and shared the news with her fans and followers. According to the post, the ‘Pathaan’ actor’s delivery date is September 2024. Soon after the post went viral, fans sent heartfelt wishes to Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh.
