CRIME OF THE WEEK: Breaking and entering confiscates $10,000 in tools

Sometime during the night between Monday, April 8 and Tuesday, April 9, 2024, a burglary occurred at a business location on Southgate Drive in Guelph.

Forced entry was gained into a trailer parked at the business, and the suspects stole approximately $10,000 worth of tools. The suspect vehicle is described as a dark blue Chevrolet Suburban.

This incident may be related to a separate incident that occurred during the same time period at a business on the city’s north side where a similar suburban robbery was reported.
