Pitch Perfect star Rebel, 44, has written a memoir about her life, in which the actor writes candidly in her own words. The book has been described as a “refreshingly candid, hilarious and inspiring book about an unconventional journey to Hollywood success and self-celebration”.




Also described as a “brave and honest memoir”, Rebel tackles many eyebrow-raising topics, such as losing her virginity late in life and all the celebrities she’s not so fond of, and those she thinks aren’t so keen. on her. To promote her book Rebel Rising, she is touring Great Britain.

The star will stop in London, Edinburgh and Manchester before continuing the tour in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. However, it has been reported that ticket prices for her event at the Manchester Opera House have been reduced.

According to The Sun, seat-filling website ShowFilmFirst is selling tickets for £16 instead of the original price of £67. The Mirror has contacted Rebel representatives for comment. The actor’s memoirs are filled with many bombshells and details from her private life.

In her memoir, Rebel told readers that she was a late bloomer and lost her virginity well into her thirties. “I was so innocent in my teens, or so busy making myself look grotesquely unattractive for comedic purposes, that a romantic opportunity never presented itself,” she wrote.

She described her relationship with a producer named “Mickey” to whom she lost her virginity while filming for How To Be Single. Rebel also claimed that Sacha Baron Cohen made her feel ‘humiliated’ when he allegedly asked her to perform a lewd act while filming for The Brothers Grimsby. Sacha has denied the claims.

Rebel claimed she was asked to have full frontal nudity for the film, but used a body double for the scenes. She recently named the actor and writer as the movie star she claimed caused problems with her and tried to stop her from mentioning him in her memoir. However, she told fans that she “will not be bullied or silenced by expensive lawyers”, while outing him as the previously unknown “huge jerk”.
