Michael J. Fox’s daughter Schuyler stands next to mother Tracy Pollan in a beautiful new family photo

Michael J. Fox and Tracy Pollan’s twin daughters, Aquinnah and Schuyler, 29, are growing up to look as remarkably similar to their famous parents as they do to each other.

That was illustrated in a new photo that Tracy, 63, shared on Instagram from a mother-daughter trip to Kaaterskill Falls in the Hudson Valley region of New York state.

She and Schuyler posed for a photo at the base of the majestic falls, each as tall as the other with bright blond locks, and dressed in layers to protect themselves from the spray.

Many fans called the photo “beautiful” and responded with comments such as: “This is really nice! Keep enjoying each other”, and: “What a beautiful photo”, but also: “There is nothing like nature to ground us. Beautiful!”

Aquinnah and Schuyler prefer to keep their private lives out of the spotlight, unlike their older brother Sam Michael, 34, who is a producer. The youngest in the family is 22-year-old Esmé. However, all four siblings will occasionally appear on the red carpet with their parents, who met, starring Family ties together and have been married for over 35 years.

Speaking previously to Good Housekeeping, the Back to the Future star, 62, explained that despite his battle with Parkinson’s disease, his family is still as close as ever, and his children in particular are coping beautifully with the situation amended.

Talking about well-known family rituals, he said: “We go to the country. And it’s not unusual to make popcorn and then all six of us get into bed and watch TV – just bodies everywhere. We’re a very affectionate person. ” family, and we laugh a lot.”

He added, “And you know, with Parkinson’s, my kids just make the transition. If I strive for something, they’ll just do it and keep going.”

“Again, people say to me, ‘How do you deal with it?’ And I’m like, ‘Deal with it?!’ It’s really hard to even think like that. Sometimes I stop and think, “Am I shortchanging the experience that my family has?” But then I look back and say, no, they’re having fun.”

The four may be ready for another red carpet with their parents soon at the Time 100 Gala, where they will join Tracy in celebrating their father’s incredible career and decades of advocacy for Parkinson’s.

Ryan Reynolds wrote the dedication to the Family Ties star, speaking not only about his indelible legacy as an actor and advocate, but also his ability to influence a new generation of young people like his daughter James.

‘I looked last year Back to the future with my 8 year old daughter,” Ryan wrote in his blurb. ‘It has become her (favorite) film. And for now, that’s enough for me – and her. Another child from another generation sees what I saw.”

“I know how lucky I am to call Mike a friend. She still has no idea I know him. I don’t have to teach my daughter the level of compassion that Mike has. Or teach her to tell stories like Mike says I have to teach her that it’s okay to fall a lot. That’s the absolute best way to know you’re flying.”
