He highlighted the discomfort caused by the glorification, fetishization and sexualization of violence in modern films, referring in particular to Ranbir Kapoor’s upcoming film Animal. Khan emphasized the importance of portraying violence in a way that effectively conveys its weight and impact.



The actor was referring to a scene from the movie Joker released a few years ago, which described a sudden and brutal attack. He emphasized the deep-seated impact of such violence, likening it to a disturbing experience if one were to encounter it in real life.


Imran expressed his discomfort over the trend in modern films of depicting heroes engaging in excessive violence and portraying it as cool and sexy. He emphasized his reluctance to portray characters who solve problems through gun violence, stating that an abundance of such content already exists.
