The Ministry of Health is urging people to beware of fake free health insurance posts

The Ministry of Health and Medical Services is urging people to be aware of the false reports of free health insurance circulating on social media, which appears to be an attempt to mislead the public in Fiji.

The ministry says they do not offer free health insurance for people over the age of 50, as stated in the fake social media posts.

They say the Ministry of Health only disseminates information through the social media platform and website of the Ministry of Health and Medical Services.

They are working with the Department of Information and the Fiji Police Force CyberCrime Unit to determine the basis of these false reports.
