“Kylie has expensive taste,” a source close to the fashion mogul told In Touch on Friday. “She wants the best of everything – and usually gets it.”

However, the source claims that the 26-year-old “doesn’t have as much money as everyone thinks.”

In 2020, Forbes named Kylie the youngest self-made billionaire, sparking significant controversy over the “self-made” label due to her famous family.

However, just a month later, the outlet retracted the title, accusing Kylie of manipulating financial data to inflate her net worth and Kylie Cosmetics’ revenue.

This raised many questions about the state of Kylie’s finances, with some pointing to the many recent new business launches as a possible sign of trouble.

There’s certainly cause for concern, as online sales of Kylie’s original beauty brand have dropped by about $40 million since 2017.

The Kardashians star is reportedly interested in buying back control of the brand’s management, but the move would cost a hefty sum.

The insider went on to reveal that if Kylie continues to ‘bleed money’, she could go bankrupt.
