Early Times Report Jammu, April 20: While both the BJP and Congress claim that they will comfortably win the Udhampur-Doda Lok Sabha seat, experts have kept their fingers crossed after looking at the voting patterns in various assembly segments at this parliamentary seat. Experts have reasons to keep their fingers crossed as voting took place quickly in the strongholds of both BJP and Congress candidates, namely Dr. Jitendra Singh and Choudhary Lal Singh. In Hiranagar assembly segment of Kathua district, a citadel of the BJP, 63,637 voters cast their votes. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, out of a total of 1.21, 937 voters (88507) had cast their votes. Of these 88,507 votes, Dr. Jitendra Singh 70,763 votes. Similarly, in Banihal Assembly segment of Ramban district, 45,215 voters had cast their votes in the 2019 elections, of which then Congress candidate Vikramaditya Singh got 34,011 votes.
