2024 NBA Awards Finalists: Complete list of candidates for MVP, Defensive Player of the Year and more

The 2023-2024 regular season is behind us, which means fans are one step closer to learning who will win the end-of-season awards.

On Sunday, the NBA will announce the finalists for its six performance awards: Most Valuable Player, Rookie of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, Sixth Man of the Year, Most Improved Player and Clutch Player of the Year. The league will also announce the finalists for Coach of the Year.

The finalists will be announced shortly after 6:30 PM ET on TNT.

As in previous years, the award winners were chosen by a global panel of 100 sportswriters and broadcasters. This year, however, new rules regarding player availability affected the eligibility for different stars.

These are the finalists for this year’s end-of-year awards.
