Earth Day film screening at the Coastal Studies Institute – The Coastland Times

A special screening of “Inundation District” will take place on Earth Day, April 22, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Coastal Studies Institute on the ECU Outer Banks Campus.

“The film, directed by David Abel, explores how a city ignored climate threats and spent billions building a new waterfront district – at sea level, on landfills and in the bull’s-eye of rising seas,” said the announcement of the screening.

A panel discussion will take place immediately following the screening, sponsored by ECU Sustainability, ECU Water Resources Center and the Coastal Studies Institute.
