Anti-polio action in Rawalpindi on 29th

Rawalpindi: A week-long anti-polio campaign will be launched in the three tehsils of the district from April 29, reaching over 906,011 children under the age of five.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the District Health Authority Dr. Ejaz Ahmed told this body on Sunday that children would be vaccinated in the area of ​​Rawalpindi City, Cantonment, Tehsil Rawalpindi (Rural), Gujar Khan and Taxila. Meanwhile, District Health Authority Vaccination Chief Dr Muhammad Nadeem said 2,834 mobile teams, 677 area officials and 192 Union Council medical officers would participate in the effort to complete the immunization task.
