The TikTok community has lost a rising star.

New York influencer Eva Evans, who also created and starred in the web comedy series “Club Rat,” has died. She was 29. Her sister Lila announced the news on social media on April 21.

“Yesterday my family received the news that our sweet, wonderful, creative, caring, hilarious Eva, my beautiful sister, passed away,” the 27-year-old captioned a photo of Eva. “After 24 hours, I am still in a constant cycle of denial and acceptance, so I know how incredible and difficult this news will be to process.”

Lily continued, “I wish I had Eva here now to point to, because she would have better words and know how to say what I don’t know. I’ll keep this short so we can make plans for the next few days, but you’re going to hear a lot more from me about how much Eva means to me and how different the world will be without her.”

She also said the family planned to hold a celebration of Eva in lower Manhattan next Tuesday, April 23, in the evening.”

The sisters’ mother, Heather Evans, shared Lila’s post.
