New mayor welcomed by Noosa’s business community

Joel Laventure – Vice President of Noosa Chamber, Davide Benati – Trattoria Benati, Frank Wilke – Mayor of Noosa, Tim Rooke – Chairman of the Noosaville Business Association.

Newly elected Noosa Mayor Frank Wilkie was a guest at the latest Noosa Chamber of Commerce Sunset Drinks, hosted by local business Trattoria Benati in Noosa Junction.

Celebrated chef Davide Benati presented the best of his Italian snacks.

With a brief welcome to guests by the Chamber’s Caroline Edgington and Joel Laventure, and questions from Tim Rook to Frank Wilkie, the evening gave attendees the opportunity to meet and chat with the mayor and other local entrepreneurs.

The Noosa Business community is hopeful the new council will support local businesses in submitting tender applications.

Attendees spent the evening making new connections and enjoying delicious handmade treats.

Already a favorite with many locals, Trattoria Benati is sure to become an Italian dining favorite for Noosa’s business community.

This networking and culture evening proved to be very popular thanks to all available tickets sold days prior to the event. The Noosa Chamber of Commerce has a number of morning and evening events planned for the remainder of 2024. New members can join the Chamber for a minimum annual membership fee of $150. Membership provides business support and networking opportunities for all Noosa business owners companies, from sole proprietorships to large corporations.
